So I guess I really am getting some practice for whenever we have children.  Sadie (our 10 month old Yorkshire Terrier) decided she needed to use the bathroom at 6:00am on a Saturday morning.  This isn't really surprising seeing as how that is typically the time we get up for work every day throughout the week.  So anyhow, I had to get up and take her outside...on a SATURDAY!!!

*sigh* And then of course, I couldn't go back to bed.  So here I am :)  Being... "productive" and updating my blog.  I'd really like to get better at this and more regular with my postings.

By the way, when I walked outside at 6am this morning I have to admit that it was BEAUTIFUL!  There was a soft breeze blowing and our trees (planted in the fall) are big enough to hear the wind rustling through the leaves.  The moon (a perfect 1/4) was still out but the sunrise was slowing beginning so there was light pink/orange on the horizon.  It was extremely peaceful!

My intent was to write a post about the landscaping that we've had done to our yard (mostly the back yard) but some in the front as well. However, I could not track down my cord to transfer pictures from the camera to the computer so that will have to happen later. Bradley & I just got back from a LONG walk with Ringo and decided to sit out on the back deck for a while because it feels so nice. I can't believe it's already pitch black dark at 7:30pm. I'm excited for it to be fall though. Probably more than anything it makes me think about our Wedding day...anniversary is only 1 week away :) YAY!

Anyhow, since I can't post pictures about our landscape I decided to post some of the flowers I took at Bradley's parent's house. Hope you enjoy!

Bradley and I organized a family trip to the Outerbanks for our vacation this year. Below are just a few sneak peaks at the trip. We really had a fabulous time! My mom & dad, Alan & Beth, sweet baby Matthew! Bradley's mom & dad, and of course Jason! Were all there. We just RELAXED. The Outerbanks is such a laid back atmosphere. We had a large house with a pool, hottub, & pool table. We spent a lot of time in the pool, played board games & pool, and had great home cooked meals! We all got a chance to get in the ocean, but I think Jason definitely enjoyed it enough for all of us :) Matthew, wasn't too sure about the ocean, but he had a good time in the sand and chasing Mister Crab! Below is a picture where grandpa showed him out to hit Daddy with a plastic bottle...lol. Video of that might be available on youtube later. Enjoy the pics :)

Love love LOVE our Entertainment Center. The TV finally has a nice home and looks really nice. It really makes the room come together and helps me determine how to proceed with the rest of the furniture and decorating...yay! I think I'll get a palm tree to go in this room. I saw one I really liked at IKEA and I'm going back next week so that will be nice. FYI...I had a hard time getting a good picture, it's not quite as dark as it seems in the picture.

Alas, here I am again attempting to write/blog/twitter/facebook....there's just so much! I really want to start writing more, so hopefully I can come up with some good things to write about.

We got a EeePC Netbook (blue!). It's really nice. Neither one of us want to sit at our desks when we come home from sitting at desks all day, but we both wanted to be able to check e-mails, browse the net, etc. so we broke down and got this laptop. It's pretty nifty. I really like the keyboard on it. They're soft and quiet keys. We just got it today, so I guess the jury's still out but I think we're really going to enjoy it.

Tomorrow will be exciting for us as our Entertainment Center is finally getting delivered! Geez, the people at Hickory Park in the Hickory Furniture Mart need to get it together. Tomorrow is Friday of week 4 after we were told it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. Needless to say they are quite the procrastinators. But they didn't procrastinate on cashing the check we wrote for it!

Man, if I ever own a business I hope that I am able to keep all the things that I notice in other companies in mind.
